We are a software development house working in the utilities industry, focused mainly on metering, revenue collection, tariffs, point of sales systems, billing systems and asset tracking. Our primary product, developed on behalf of a large multinational company, is deployed at many South African municipalities and in 18+ other countries in the EMEA region.

If you are keen on gaining experience with a large .Net / Oracle system, this is a good opportunity.

If you are interested in modernizing such a system using new cloud based technologies and architectures, as well as mobile front-ends, this is a good opportunity.

Our team is hardworking but casual. We typically dress down and arrival/departure times are flexible within reason. We do expect a 40-hour workweek. You will be able to work from home once or twice a week depending on the project.

We have a high employee retention rate, with many of our employees having been with us for 10+ years.

We have traditionally been using a waterfall development approach due to the nature of the utilities industry but we are in the process of adopting a more agile methodology.

There is typically a 6 month probation period for new recruits at which time we either go our separate ways or sign a permanent employee contract.

As part of the interview process, we would require the candidate to write some C# code.
