Role description
We're looking for a talented Back-End Engineer to join Luckybeard and take ownership of designing, developing, and maintaining scalable server-side applications, APIs, and services. In this role, you'll leverage Microsoft technologies and modern development practices to build secure, high-performance applications within the .NET ecosystem. You'll work with minimal supervision, troubleshooting complex issues, developing robust APIs and services, and making meaningful contributions to our engineering standards and processes. You'll collaborate closely with front-end engineers, product designers, and project managers in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. Our tech stack centers around C# and ASP.NET Core, with PostgreSQL as our primary database, and we embrace modern practices like containerization with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure. You'll participate in code reviews, mentor team members, contribute to technical documentation, and engage directly with clients in workshops and demonstrations. We value engineers who advocate for best practices and continuously seek opportunities to improve our frameworks, tooling, and processes. We're seeking someone with solid experience in the .NET ecosystem, strong understanding of API design (RESTful/GraphQL), database optimization, and authentication patterns. Familiarity with microservices architecture, clean code principles, and modern DevOps practices will set you up for success. Beyond technical skills, we value strong problem-solvers with excellent communication abilities, attention to detail, and a positive team-player mentality.
