Role description
We're seeking a Senior Data Analyst to become the analytical backbone of our organization, working at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success. In this role, you'll transform complex behavioral and transactional data into clear, actionable insights that drive decision-making across the business. You'll design and analyze A/B tests throughout the customer lifecycle, build sophisticated cohort and retention analyses, and lead deep-dive investigations into commercial performance, churn patterns, and product engagement. Your work will directly shape how we understand and serve our customers. You'll thrive in our collaborative environment, partnering with Data Engineers on pipeline reliability and data quality while supporting teams across the organization with both strategic analysis and ad-hoc reporting. We champion experimentation as a core part of our decision-making process, and you'll be instrumental in embedding this culture throughout the company. You'll present findings to senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence, translating ambiguous business questions into structured problems and delivering decision-ready recommendations—not just charts, but meaningful conclusions. Our modern data stack includes AWS infrastructure, dbt for transformation, Athena for querying, and Tableau for reporting, with Python for deeper analysis. We're looking for someone with 5+ years of analytics experience, ideally from fintech, e-commerce, or SaaS environments. You should bring advanced SQL skills, strong experimentation expertise including A/B test design and statistical analysis, and hands-on experience with behavioral analysis techniques like retention curves and funnel modeling. Most importantly, you're a natural storyteller who can take messy questions and return with clear, honest answers that drive action.

Rather than looking at profit-maximization, we focus on helping our customers to send money home at a socially fair price. The money is being used by their families to pay for food, medicine, housing, and education and if less money gets stuck with the money transfer operator, more money arrives in the pockets of people who really need it. We like to move quickly and not waste your time with unnecessary steps. After a quick intro chat, we ask you to complete an assessment (that was created in-house), and once returned and reviewed, we will set up a technical interview for you to discuss your solution and also get to know some of the team better.
