Role description
As a Senior Engineering Consultant at Dae.mn, you'll work on exciting client projects with famous brands, taking responsibility for designing and delivering cloud-based solutions using React Native. You'll implement REST APIs over interfaces on AWS, develop custom modules, and integrate third-party solutions while mentoring junior team members. Your role involves both building innovative new solutions and maintaining existing ones, all while continuously improving our development processes. You'll report to our Head of Engineering and work alongside Principal Consultants within our Engineering and DevOps Practices, with both a mentor and mentee assigned to support your growth. We're a technology consultancy that puts people first, with a vision to make the world a better place through technology. Our culture is built on forming long-term relationships based on trust with colleagues, partners, and clients. You'll join a team of over 100 consultants composed of experts from industry leaders like John Lewis, Puppet, and RackSpace. We strongly encourage continuous learning and will pay for certifications in new or existing technologies. You'll gain valuable experience working with multiple enterprise clients across diverse engagements, allowing you to finely tune your skills and learn new technologies in friendly, high-performing teams. Our Story
In 2007 Calum Fitzgerald and Steve Bennett founded a technology consultancy they named Daemon Solutions. They had seen first-hand that technology had the power to transform business and the lives of employees, and ultimately make the world a better place.
Things took root in the retail sector and as they grew, so did the client list. Big name brands became loyal customers, including Sainsbury’s, John Lewis and ASOS. Our client base now also includes finance, government and media sectors.
At the very heart of what we do is a commitment to long-lasting relationships built on trust. Ultimately, technology solutions come and go, but the people and values are a constant. We hire people based on skills, expertise and their ideals.
Time for a name change
We’re always looking to move forward and keep pace with change we see around us and in our business. In 2007 Daemon Solutions was the right name for us and now in 2020 - a time of unpredictable and unprecedented change - we felt the time was right for a subtle refresh.
Many of you already know us as Dae.mn, and now we’ve simply removed a word and a vowel to keep it lean, relevant and to the point. Daemon Solutions is now Dae.mn (pronounced Dee-mun). The same values, same commitment to trust and the same strong belief that technology can make the world a better place.

Hiring process

Culture fit interview: 45 min Interview with the Head of Department. This is as important to the team as the Tech interview is. Also a chat around the role in depth, company culture, values and vision as well as see where the candidate fits in.

Final interview/Founders Chat: This takes place within 24 hours after the Tech interview. In the last step, you will have the opportunity to meet one or 2 of the founders/Board members and learn more about Deamon's culture and values.
