Role description
This role sits at the intersection of Product Owner, Solutions Architect, and Systems Analyst, working with Fenergo's award-winning SaaS platform for global financial institutions. You'll take high-level business requirements from banks, design technical solutions, and communicate these to both developers and banking stakeholders. Your expertise will focus on integrations and the Fenergo SaaS platform, leveraging their API-first approach to design solutions that integrate with banks' software landscapes. You'll also advise on data migration and preparation for getting data into the Fenergo platform. As a delivery lead for your scrum team, you'll work on projects with small teams where you'll be responsible for the backlog, delivery management, and providing high-level estimates for potential projects. This position requires strong presentation skills to convey problems and concepts clearly, excellent solution design capabilities from high-level to low-level, and thorough process flow detailing. You'll need REST API knowledge, strong SQL skills for data migration efforts, and the ability to work with both SQL and NoSQL data across platforms including MS SQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB and JSON objects. We're part of Kaha in Cape Town, which has been integral to Fenergo's product development since 2017, building a reputation for software design and delivery excellence. We offer a hybrid working environment and provide comprehensive training on the Fenergo Fen-X product. You'll have opportunities to grow as a leader within the organization, becoming a practice lead and supporting knowledge transfer to colleagues. We're looking for someone with minimum 3 years systems analysis experience, preferably in financial services, with excellent analytical and creative problem-solving abilities, and strong interpersonal skills.
