Role description

Join Prime SA as a Full-Stack Python Developer and help reshape the motor vehicle insurance industry. You'll be part of our software team, building internal tools and systems that empower teams across the business. This hybrid role, based in Bryanston, offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with data scientists and create user-friendly web applications. As our Full-Stack Python Developer, you'll design, build, and maintain Python-based web applications that expose internal data products and tools. Your responsibilities will include developing responsive front-ends using HTML, HTMX, CSS, and JavaScript, integrating with existing systems, and collaborating with data scientists to transform complex datasets into intuitive workflows. You'll also manage deployments, implement logging and monitoring, and ensure security best practices are followed. We're looking for a candidate with 3+ years of professional development experience, strong Python skills (especially with Flask and pandas), and solid frontend abilities. You should be comfortable working independently, have a practical, user-first approach, and excellent communication skills. If you're passionate about creating elegant, reliable tools that drive business success, we want you on our team!
