Role description
We're seeking a world-class blockchain engineer to join our team at Spendl. You'll be at the forefront of designing and building production-grade MPC custody and wallet infrastructure for Bitcoin and EVM-compatible networks. In this role, you'll evolve secure wallet architectures, implement robust key-management and signing flows, and integrate wallet components with our existing services. As a senior member of our team, you'll collaborate closely with colleagues to review designs, assess security risks, and drive best practices. Your expertise in blockchain engineering, security, or applied cryptography will be crucial as we develop cutting-edge solutions. We're looking for someone with hands-on experience in secure key-management, comfortable with low-level programming languages, and a track record of shipping production-grade crypto infrastructure. We offer a flexible work environment with a hybrid setup. You'll start with 2-4 weeks of in-office onboarding in Cape Town, followed by the option to work remotely with just one day per week in the office.
