Role description
Join our dynamic IT Software Engineering team at Pepkor Lifestyle as a Scrum Master! We've embraced Agile Methodologies, and you'll play a crucial role in executing Scrum and Kanban for our development teams. You'll be the vital link between product owners and developers, conducting agile ceremonies and ensuring smooth project delivery.
As our Scrum Master, you'll keep teams organized, plan deliverables, and monitor performance. You'll resolve issues, work with product owners on backlogs, and guide teams to higher scrum maturity. Your responsibilities include hosting daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, as well as engaging with stakeholders to keep everyone informed of progress.
We're looking for an experienced professional with at least 5 years in a Scrum Master role, Scrum Master certification, and a strong background in software development and project management. You should have excellent knowledge of Agile frameworks, Scrum techniques, and tools like Jira and Confluence. If you have outstanding communication skills and can manage multiple teams simultaneously, we want you on our team!
