About the role
As a Manual Test Analyst at Genasys, you form part of the Genasys Professional Services team and play a critical part in ensuring that software solutions are delivered to the highest quality standards.
What will you be doing?
Designing and executing Test Cases.
Creating formal test documentation, including test plans and test completion reports.
Testing functionality and ensuring that it aligns with client specifications and company standards.
Completing Functionality Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Perform regression, negative, and end-to-end testing.
Testing functionality to verify performance and reliability.
Logging and tracking bugs, defects, issues, and risks.
Perform run-to-live testing after production implementation.
The role requires someone who is a proactive problem-solver and enjoys working independently or within a team-based structure. While our team members work on individual projects, we encourage a collaborative and supportive environment, where solutions and ideas are shared to achieve the best possible outcomes.
About you
You are passionate about quality, with an investigative mind. You enjoy following processes, you are detail-oriented, and you are very organised. You are comfortable working on multiple projects at once and managing your time to meet deadlines. Although you are comfortable working alone, you enjoy having the opportunity to collaborate with team members.
Your experience, qualifications, and skills:
ISTQB Certificate in Software Testing
5 years of experience in Functional and UAT Testing
Experience with issue/defect tracking tools
Experience in creating test cases, test scenarios, and test plans
Experience with software testing specifically with UAT and Functional testing.
Intermediate SQL knowledge and an understanding of basic database concepts
Previous experience in the Insurance or InsurTech industry would be an advantage.
