Role description
We're seeking a talented DBA and Linux Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of deploying and supporting web applications, Oracle and Postgres databases, and Linux operating systems. Your expertise in creating SQL scripts and troubleshooting configuration errors will be crucial in resolving customer queries and ensuring smooth operations.
You'll work closely with development teams and end-users to determine application data access requirements, and communicate effectively with customers and Project Managers to meet project deadlines. We're looking for a problem-solver with a positive attitude and self-motivation. Your solid experience in writing SQL queries and exposure to Linux operating systems will be highly valued.
To thrive in this role, you should have experience in an IT environment such as application support, database support, or testing. We require a degree, BTech, or National Diploma in Computer Science or a similar field, along with a Linux LI-LE or equivalent certification. Our Hiring Process
You'll meet the Managing Director and the Technical Director at the first interview. If everyone agrees that there's potential to work together, you'll be asked to complete a technical exercise in your own time. Often this will be followed by another interview, where various aspects of the exercise are discussed. If everyone is still keen at this point, you will receive an offer.
