**HOW IT WORKS **
Elixirr AI Academy is a program designed for tech enthusiasts who want to build practical skills, gain real-world experience, and take the first step in their IT career.
The Academy combines lectures, mentoring sessions, home assignments, and a final hands-on team project. You will learn from experienced professionals, apply your knowledge in practice, and work with modern technologies across software, data, cloud applications, and AI.
At Elixirr AI Academy, we focus on helping you build the skills needed to solve real business challenges using technology. Are you ready to learn, build, and grow with us?
**WHAT WILL YOU LEARN **
You will learn about modern trends across software engineering, data, cloud applications, and AI.
The Academy is designed for motivated individuals with basic technical knowledge who want to learn modern principles and best practices for building technology solutions using cloud platforms and cutting-edge tools. Topics include cloud solution design, application development, data storage and processing, AI tools, and prompt engineering.
**REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATION **
Basic requirements to enter the Academy:
- SQL basics
- Python basics
- English level B2 or higher
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with cloud concepts
- Familiarity with data engineering concepts
- Interest in application development and AI tools
**MENTORING **
As an Academy participant, you will work with mentors and experts across software, data, cloud, and AI. Through lectures and hands-on group project work, they are here to guide you, challenge your thinking and provide you with valuable feedback. Together, you can discuss new technology trends, project challenges, teamwork, and career development.
**REAL EXPERIENCE **
The Academy will be hosted from our office in Cape Town, from 17 August 2026 until 25 September 2026. During the Academy, we'd expect your full-time commitment with office hours from 9am - 5pm.
We created this Academy to give you practical experience and help prepare you for your first role in tech. If you are interested in software, data, cloud applications, and AI, this is a great opportunity to learn from mentors, work on real challenges, and gain hands-on experience.
