Role description
Join the Allan & Gill Gray Philanthropies (AGGP), a philanthropic group committed to advancing human dignity, equitable opportunity, and the public good across Southern and East Africa. We're seeking a driven and detail-oriented Senior AI Solutions Architect to join our Group IT Shared Services Team. This unique role bridges solution delivery and enterprise architecture disciplines, offering you the opportunity to design innovative technology solutions while shaping enterprise-wide architectural standards, security frameworks, and strategic AI initiatives. You'll work with a purpose-driven organisation that provides strategic, specialist, and operational support to non-profit entities making a real difference. In this role, you'll design and deliver technical solutions across applications, infrastructure, and integration layers, with a particular focus on ERP systems (especially SAGE). You'll drive the integration of AI capabilities—including chatbots, automation, and data-driven decision support—into our enterprise solutions, working closely with our Group AI team and stakeholders. Your expertise in cloud platforms, security best practices, and architectural design will be essential as you ensure compliance with IT governance, collaborate with Information Security teams, and support audits and risk assessments. You'll also contribute to architecture review sessions, identify opportunities for system improvements and automation, and provide technical input during vendor evaluations. We're looking for a problem-solver with 5–8 years of IT/AI experience, including proven expertise in ERP implementation and architecture (preferably SAGE), hands-on cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and familiarity with AI/ML technologies. You'll bring strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, a growth mindset, and leadership potential.
