Role description
We're looking for an experienced Senior BI Developer / Data Warehouse Consultant to join our dynamic Finance Technology team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of designing, developing, and supporting enterprise data warehouse and business intelligence solutions that drive strategic decision-making across our organization.
You'll work with cutting-edge SQL Server BI technologies, Azure Cloud services, and modern visualization platforms to transform data into actionable insights.
Your day-to-day will involve building and maintaining enterprise Data Warehouse solutions, developing ETL processes using SSIS, creating compelling reports with SSRS, and designing analytical models using SSAS.
You'll also build interactive dashboards in Power BI, optimize complex T-SQL queries, and collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their reporting needs. We value your expertise in ensuring data quality and governance, and you'll have the opportunity to mentor junior team members while participating in architecture discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Your work in our Azure cloud-based data initiatives will be crucial to our digital transformation. We offer a hybrid work arrangement based in Johannesburg, giving you flexibility while staying connected to our collaborative team.
This is a 12-month renewable contract that provides an excellent opportunity to work with a team that values analytical thinking, innovation, and attention to detail.
