Role description
We're looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our high-performing technology team supporting a large-scale retail environment. You'll play a pivotal role in our transformation journey as we migrate from Azure DevOps Server to GitHub Enterprise and standardize our Infrastructure as Code using Terraform. This is an exciting opportunity to work across hybrid and multi-cloud environments, ensuring 24/7 system availability and platform reliability for mission-critical retail operations. In this role, you'll design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for .NET applications, manage infrastructure across on-premises data centers, Microsoft Azure, and AWS, and implement DevSecOps best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. You'll leverage Terraform for infrastructure automation, utilize Dynatrace for comprehensive observability, and support high-availability systems including IIS Web Farms and F5 Load Balancers. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining disaster recovery processes, conducting DR testing, and ensuring our critical systems meet stringent RTO and RPO requirements. You'll collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Systems Analysts, Infrastructure Engineers, Security teams, and Architects, promoting a culture of automation and continuous improvement. We're looking for someone with 5+ years of DevOps or Platform Engineering experience who thrives under pressure and has a strong operational ownership mindset. Success in this role means reducing deployment lead times, increasing platform reliability, driving successful cloud migrations, and enhancing observability across our infrastructure—all while mentoring development teams on DevOps best practices and operational excellence.
