Role description
We're looking for an Intermediate Fullstack Software Engineer to join our development team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to build efficient, scalable software solutions while continuously improving our existing systems. We value self-motivated, proactive individuals who can apply scientific thinking, taking a fact-based, iterative approach to tackle difficult challenges.
In this role, you'll collaborate directly with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical designs. You'll identify bottlenecks in workflows and value streams, then experiment with innovative solutions. You'll design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, leveraging services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFront to build resilient, cost-efficient systems. You'll contribute to our DevOps culture by supporting CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code practices, and automated testing workflows that enable fast, reliable delivery. We trust you to efficiently self-manage your responsibilities within the team while ensuring timely delivery of high-quality code. You'll also stay current with emerging technologies and contribute ideas on how to integrate them into our solutions.
Our tech stack includes Python, Django, JavaScript/TypeScript, React Native, NextJS, Docker, SQL, PostgreSQL, AWS, Linux, Git, and Java. On the DevOps and cloud side, you'll work with tools and practices including Docker containerization, AWS cloud services, CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions or similar), and infrastructure automation. While a Bachelor of Science is advantageous, what matters most is your knowledge of these technologies or comparable ones.
