Role description
At Lula, we're revolutionizing fintech for SMEs by delivering instant funding and all-in-one business banking solutions. We're seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our data team as a technical leader, where you'll build a reliable, governed, and high-impact dbt analytics layer. You'll be at the heart of transforming raw data from multiple sources into consistent, consumption-ready formats that power predictive and prescriptive modeling for our innovative products. As a key member of our data team, you'll design and own the end-to-end analytics layer while establishing robust data governance standards including data tests, quality checks, and semantic layers. You'll define and enforce best practices for dbt and source control workflows, translate complex business challenges into clear metrics and models, and partner closely with stakeholders to align data delivery with strategic objectives. Additionally, you'll play a crucial mentorship role, coaching intermediate engineers and actively shaping the team's technical roadmap. We're looking for someone with 5+ years in Analytics/Data Engineering who brings expertise in dbt, advanced SQL, and modern cloud warehouses like Snowflake or BigQuery. Our culture code emphasizes embracing curiosity, winning as one team, being driven by purpose, and executing with ambition. You'll thrive here if you have a track record of delivering high-impact, business-aligned data solutions, experience with BI tool administration and semantic layer design, and a passion for the FinTech space where you can help SMEs manage their businesses better, faster, and simpler.
