Front End PWA Developer
Work setup: Fully remote
Schedule: 10/4 schedule (10 hours per day, 4 days per week)
Environment: Large enterprise environment
Contract: 12 Month Renewable Contract
Role Overview
We’re looking for a strong Front End PWA Developer for a fully remote contract role within a large enterprise environment.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience building Progressive Web Applications in production environments, with strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and at least one modern front-end framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.
You’ll be working on modern front-end architecture, integrating with RESTful APIs, and ensuring applications are responsive, performant, and compatible across browsers. The broader technical environment includes a C# /.NET back-end and Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, so experience collaborating closely with back-end developers would be beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Progressive Web Applications in a production environment.
- Build responsive, high-performing, and cross-browser compatible front-end solutions.
- Work with JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate closely with back-end developers working in C# /.NET and Microsoft Azure.
- Contribute to clean, maintainable, and scalable front-end architecture.
- Take ownership of assigned work and contribute meaningfully from day one.
Technical Skills Required
- Strong experience building PWAs in production environments.
- High proficiency in JavaScript ES6+ and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with at least one modern front-end framework, such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Good understanding of responsive design, performance optimisation, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Comfortable working with and integrating RESTful APIs.
Technical Environment
- Front-end: JavaScript, TypeScript, modern framework-based architecture
- Back-end: C# / .NET (Exposure to/collaborating with the back-end team)
- Cloud: Microsoft Azure
