Join LabourNet as a Senior Data Engineer and play a foundational role in building our enterprise data platform from the ground up. You'll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining reliable, scalable, and governed data pipelines that power our Golden Employee Record, cross-domain analytics, and future advisory products. This is a platform- and capability-building role where you'll set engineering standards and enable all downstream analytics, BI, and data science work across the organization. We're at an exciting transition point, moving from fragmented, service-line-specific systems to a unified, governed data platform that supports multi-tenant analytics, cross-domain insights, predictive use cases, and regulatory requirements. In this role, you'll design and implement robust ingestion pipelines using Medallion architecture (Bronze → Silver → Gold), build analytics-ready data models in partnership with our BI teams, and implement comprehensive data quality and observability patterns. You'll translate architectural vision into operational reality, establishing engineering standards for naming conventions, partitioning strategies, error handling, and monitoring that will shape our platform for years to come. You'll work in a collaborative, squad-based environment alongside Product Owners, Delivery Leads, and Analysts, embedding data engineering work naturally into delivery cycles while balancing platform development with incremental business value. As a technical leader, you'll mentor junior engineers, promote best practices, and help establish a strong engineering culture focused on quality and sustainability. We're looking for someone with strong experience in modern cloud data platforms, lakehouse architectures, advanced SQL skills, and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
