Metronomics is seeking an intermediate-level Business Analyst to join our team in Pretoria, Gauteng, working in a hybrid environment. Reporting directly to our CIO/Head of Product Development, you'll play an essential role in translating business needs into clear, structured, and actionable functional requirements for our complex SaaS solutions serving the energy, utilities, and property management sectors. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our product development process, managing requirements through workshops and interviews, engineering and mapping business processes, and producing high-quality functional specifications. You'll shape our SaaS strategy by focusing on scalability, configurability, and multi-tenant environments, while ensuring development quality through validation and User Acceptance Testing support. Working closely with technical teams and stakeholders across multiple domains, you'll ensure accurate interpretation and clear communication of requirements throughout the software delivery lifecycle. We're looking for someone with a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology and formal certification in process mapping (such as BPMN, Lean, or Six Sigma), backed by 3-5 years of Business Analyst experience. You should have proven expertise with SaaS-based platforms, strong process mapping abilities, excellent technical writing skills, and proficiency in data analysis. Experience working in Agile or Hybrid delivery environments is essential, and background in energy, utilities, property management, metering, or asset management sectors would be advantageous.
