Role description
Join Fourier IT Innovation (FIT) as a Senior PHP Developer, where you'll play a key role in developing and maintaining cutting-edge enterprise systems. Based in Centurion with a flexible hybrid work model, you'll report to our Development Executive and work on front-end and back-end development, integration services, and system deployments. Your day-to-day will involve collaborating with users to gather requirements, liaising with developers and stakeholders, and delivering innovative solutions that drive business improvement. We're looking for someone who thrives in an Agile environment and is passionate about technology and innovation. Fourier IT Innovation is a well-established IT service provider, part of the Fourier group founded in 1998. Our 70-strong team includes 30 dedicated technologists in FIT, and we're expanding into exciting new markets while strengthening our presence with strategic clients in financial services. We offer a collaborative, energetic environment where you'll work with the latest technologies including Laravel, RESTful APIs, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and containerization tools. You'll have opportunities to work on diverse projects ranging from bespoke enterprise solutions to IoT and AI enablement, with market-related remuneration that's negotiable based on your experience. We're seeking a team player with 5+ years of PHP development experience and 3+ years of Laravel expertise, along with strong skills in RESTful API development, MySQL optimization, and secure coding practices. You'll need a B.Com or B.Sc degree in IT or Computer Science, and experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern JavaScript frameworks is highly valued.
