Role description
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic IT team in Cape Town, where you'll focus on developing cutting-edge C# ASP.NET and .NET solutions alongside JavaScript applications using NodeJS, VueJS, and Express. In this role, you'll create in-house applications, debug and maintain code, work closely with other developers and UX designers, and identify opportunities to enhance existing programs. You'll participate in project meetings, report on development progress, and handle technical risks while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. We're seeking someone with 7+ years of software development experience, deep expertise in JavaScript, C# , and ASP.NET framework, and a bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Sciences. You'll thrive here if you communicate clearly, solve problems efficiently, and deliver high-quality solutions both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS, strong knowledge of MS SQL Server and Entity Framework Core, and familiarity with version control systems. You'll need a valid driver's licence and availability for occasional after-hours support as part of this exciting opportunity to develop your career with us.
