Role description
We're seeking an energetic and ambitious SQL Developer to join our IT department in Cape Town. You'll thrive in this role if you bring five or more years of database development experience using Microsoft SQL Server, with advanced T-SQL skills including stored procedures, functions, and triggers. Your day-to-day will involve ensuring high performance and security of our databases, analysing and solving real-time issues, refining and automating processes, and providing critical production system support. You'll also assist developers with query tuning, create optimised SQL queries, maintain data quality, and support .NET and VBA applications. We're looking for someone detail-oriented who takes ownership, demonstrates exceptional troubleshooting abilities, and communicates clearly with both technical teams and end users.
