Role description
We're searching for a Senior Performance Tester who lives and breathes performance engineering. In this hands-on technical role, you'll be our performance specialist, diving deep into Apache JMeter and LoadRunner to ensure our applications meet the highest standards of performance, scalability, and reliability. If you thrive on solving complex performance challenges and take pride in meticulous technical execution, this is your opportunity to make a real impact. You'll design and execute sophisticated performance test scripts, conducting everything from load and stress testing to spike, endurance, and scalability testing across our web, API, and enterprise applications. Working closely with our developers and system engineers, you'll perform in-depth analysis of test results, monitor critical system metrics, and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks at the application, database, and infrastructure layers. You'll also integrate performance testing into our CI/CD pipelines, ensuring continuous validation and optimization. Your insights will be documented in clear, actionable reports that drive meaningful improvements. We're looking for someone with 5+ years of hands-on performance testing experience who brings strong proficiency in scripting, parameterization, and correlation within testing tools. You'll need solid knowledge of web protocols, monitoring tools like Dynatrace or AppDynamics, and experience with cloud environments and containerized applications. Our ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, execution-driven, and comfortable working independently on complex technical challenges. You'll join an Agile team that values technical curiosity, continuous improvement, and a hands-on approach to performance engineering.
