As our Engineering Lead, you'll guide and mentor a talented team of 6 developers while driving technical excellence and architectural decisions across our product portfolio. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll balance strategic technical planning with day-to-day development activities, working in close partnership with our Product Management team to deliver customer-centric solutions. You'll be based on-site in Cape Town, at the heart of our innovative operations. We're looking for an experienced technical leader with 10+ years of professional software engineering experience and 3-5+ years in technical leadership roles. Your expertise in operating production systems in the cloud, designing distributed systems, and working within Agile/Scrum/Kanban frameworks will be essential. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience is required, and certifications in GCP or Kubernetes are a definite plus.
