Role description
We're Lead Forensics, a rapidly growing B2B SaaS company, and we're looking for a Software Architect to join our engineering department. You'll work directly alongside our Principal Architect and CTO, leading both long-term strategic architecture initiatives and supporting Lead Developers with designing innovative new products and features. This is a senior technical role with real influence—you'll be working with our modern tech stack including NestJS/NodeJS, Vue, Redis, SQL Server, and Snowflake to design large-scale, cloud-first AWS solutions that handle high data throughput and massive datasets. From defining architectural patterns and mentoring developers to hands-on coding of prototypes and reviewing code standards, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our platform's future. We offer a remote-first culture with light onsite collaboration, and we're establishing our first South Africa office in Cape Town. We value candidates who are highly analytical, commercially aware, and can operate with agility in our fast-moving environment—ideally with a strong academic background in Computer Science or similar disciplines.
