Role description
We're seeking an experienced Telephony Project Manager to join Santam and lead strategic telephony initiatives that align with our business objectives. You'll take ownership of end-to-end project planning, execution, and delivery across our telephony infrastructure, including IVR, VoIP, call routing, and contact centre solutions. This is your opportunity to drive meaningful change and innovation in a dynamic environment where your expertise will directly impact our operational excellence. In this role, you'll build strong relationships with business leaders, technical teams, and vendors while proactively managing risks and ensuring business continuity. We value strategic thinking and leadership, so you'll provide executive-level reporting and governance while implementing best practices for project delivery. Your ability to influence at senior management levels and lead cross-functional teams will be essential to your success here. We're looking for someone with 7+ years of project management experience, particularly in telephony, contact centre, or IT infrastructure projects. You should bring deep technical knowledge of telephony systems, strong familiarity with project management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid), and excellent stakeholder management skills. As a leader and mentor, you'll guide junior project managers through complex telephony projects, helping us build a stronger, more capable team. A Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or a related field is required, and certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Scrum Master are highly valued.
