We're seeking a talented DevOps & Full Stack Developer to join our small, high-performing team in Johannesburg. In this hybrid role, you'll take ownership of our entire AWS infrastructure and development stack, managing serverless services, optimizing cloud costs, and building exceptional user experiences across web and mobile platforms. You'll work with modern technologies including React Native, SST, Vercel, and Cloudflare while ensuring our platform remains scalable, secure, and highly available. You'll play a critical role in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, maintaining development workflows, and collaborating directly with product, design, and leadership teams to deliver cutting-edge workplace solutions. **Key Responsibilities **

• Manage and optimise AWS infrastructure, including serverless services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.)

• Oversee relationships with cloud vendors and manage associated costs and performance

• Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native

• Build, deploy, and optimise features on our web platform (SST, Vercel, Cloudflare)

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines and development workflows

• Ensure application scalability, security, and high availability

• Handle and process data securely, ensuring compliance with relevant standards

• Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver high-quality user experiences

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently

• Maintain clear technical documentation for infrastructure and processes

• Continuously evaluate and implement tools and best practices for DevOps and development

• Support incident response and proactively monitor platform health

**Requirements **

• Strong experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and serverless architecture

• Proficient in React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern web development practices

• Familiarity with SST, Vercel, and Cloudflare

• Solid understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code

• Experience managing cloud vendor relationships and optimising cloud spend

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of data handling best practices and security standards

**Bonus Skills **

• Experience with SaaS platforms and multi-tenant architectures

• Knowledge of performance monitoring tools and logging best practices

• Familiarity with GDPR, POPIA, or other data privacy regulations
