About the Role

As a Consulting Principal Software Engineer, you will provide assistance and input to management. You will develop and lead large multifunctional development activities. You will also solve complex technical problems, write complex code for computer systems. In addition, you will serve as a senior source of expertise and possibly provide sizing or budget recommendations to management.

Responsibilities:

• Leading and contributing to software design and development across multiple products.

• Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to meet business needs.

• Develop, review, and maintain high-quality code and system specifications.

• Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, ensuring system reliability and performance.

• Recommending and implementing improvements for scalability, security, and efficiency.

• Supporting production systems and perform root cause analysis for outages.

• Mentoring and guiding team members on best practices and development methodologies.

Requirements:

• Have a BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required; advanced degree preferred

• Have experience in programming languages such as C# , .NET, JavaScript, SQL, and web application frameworks.

• Have experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and operating systems (Linux – Red Hat/Ubuntu, Microsoft Windows).

• Be able to design and optimize complex data models, including data manipulation and performance tuning.

• Be familiar with AI-driven development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and modern development environments (Visual Studio)

• Have solid knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

• Have demonstrated understanding of industry best practices and emerging trends in software development.

• Have solid problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with experience leading cross-functional projects.
