What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a Quality Engineer with a passion for technology to join a dynamic team in Cape Town. You’ll help build and deliver community-focused online platforms for educational institutions and enterprises.
The team currently consists of 2 developers and QEs who report to the QA Manager and collaborate closely with the Projects Team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform QA on all changes implemented in test or live services, including new features, bug fixes, and design updates.
Troubleshoot service functionality related to bugs or new feature requests.
Provide clear, accurate QA notes with evidence of expected or actual behavior.
Follow established processes for implementation, testing, and handover.
Populate and update metrics for monthly KPIs.
Update client requests via Monday.com regarding development implementation and technical inquiries.
Background & Experience:
The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and a strong team player with a logical, hardworking approach. Ability to communicate with internal stakeholders across different countries is essential.
Skills & Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality engineering role
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices
Solid understanding of the software development life cycle
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
