Role description
Senior Full Stack Engineer (Angular, Ionic, GCP) – Mobile App Lead
We are looking for a senior full stack engineer who can take technical ownership of our mobile app for the real estate sector. The app is already live and built with Angular and Ionic, with the backend hosted on Google Cloud. Your role is to maintain the current version, improve stability and performance, and guide the next stage of the build.
This is a high impact role where you will work directly with the founder and take the lead on the technical direction of the product.
What you will do
- Take ownership of the existing Angular and Ionic codebase
- Maintain, debug and optimise the current production app
- Handle app store deployments for iOS and Android
- Work with Google Cloud services including Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage and Maps API
- Stabilise and improve the infrastructure and reduce unnecessary cloud spend
- Plan and execute a clean, scalable rebuild of the app while keeping the current version live
- Manage API integrations, authentication and database structure
- Set up clean release workflows, GitHub management and basic DevOps
- Work closely with the founder to shape the next phase of the platform

What we are looking for
- Strong experience with Angular and Ionic
- Experience shipping apps to both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
- Hands on experience with Google Cloud, especially Compute Engine and Cloud SQL
- Solid understanding of full stack architecture and API design
- Ability to take over an existing product and improve it
- Comfortable leading the technical direction and owning key decisions
- Strong communicator who enjoys solving problems end to end
Nice to have
- Experience with real estate platforms or map based products
- Exposure to rebuilds or system migrations
- Basic UI improvements or design awareness
