About Sendmarc
We are a cyber security company that is on a mission to make the internet a safer place. We do this by delivering tooling and services related to an international standard, DMARC. Our technology enables organisations to protect their staff, customers, suppliers, and the whole world from email spoofing and impersonation attacks on their domains.
We're a fully remote company with the majority of our team working out of South Africa and sales teams in the Netherlands, the US, Latin America, Australia and the UK.
1. Mission for the Role
Build, manage, and continuously improve Sendmarc’s website, and automated SEO systems. This role focuses on using modern web technologies, AI-assisted development, and headless CMS automation to increase marketing efficiency, SEO performance, and deployment velocity. You’ll act like the owner of these systems and are expected to work with the Chief AI Officer to determine and execute on your own roadmap.
2. Outcomes (Key Results Expected)
- Rebuild website stack using modern frameworks (Next.js, Headless CMS).
- Implement automated SEO processes with measurable ranking improvements within 3 months.
- Deploy fully automated CI/CD pipeline for content and SEO updates.
- Integrate AI-enabled development workflows using Cursor and MCP/APIs.
- Deliver measurable speed and reliability improvements across marketing pages.
3. Competencies (What Great Looks Like)
- Strong product-minded engineering: able to turn vision into working prototypes fast.
- AI-fluent: builds with AI tools, not just for AI. Uses AI to accelerate output and ideation.
- Full-stack expertise: Laravel, CMS integration, hosting, and deployment workflows.
- Experience with SEO automation, analytics, and data-driven performance improvements.
- Self-directed ownership: minimal specs, high initiative, fast iteration cycles.
4. Technical & Tool Skills required
- Web Development: frontend Modern frameworks i.e. Next.js, Headless CMS (e.g., Strapi, Sanity, Contentful).
- Automation & SEO: Experience automating SEO processes and content workflows.
- Hosting & Deployment: CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, testing frameworks.
- AI Development: Proficient using AI IDEs like Cursor; experience with MCPs and AI-accelerated workflows.
- Marketing Tech: Background in marketing platforms, analytics, and CMS-driven campaigns.

Our Hiring Process
The process is fairly straight forward and relatively informal. After an initial interview with one of the founders, you are required to complete an online technical assessment which can be done in your own time. Following the technical assessment, you will have a discussion with a senior engineer.
