About The Role
As a Senior Devops Engineer, you will develop software to help evolve our global CI/CD platform. In this role, you will design reusable tools, APIs, and infrastructure-as-code templates that empower teams to deliver software efficiently, securely, and consistently. You will contribute to shared Jenkins libraries, Terraform/CloudFormation modules, Python packages, and GitOps workflows that support secure and observable deployments across AWS and other environments.
Responsibilities
• Designing and maintaining Jenkins shared libraries and pipeline templates that simplify complexity and support compliance.
• Building and supporting Python packages with Open Telemetry-enabled steps for builds, scans, deployments, and releases.
• Leading migration efforts from legacy pipelines to standardized deployment paths using reusable tools and clear documentation.
• Developing and maintaining Terraform and CloudFormation modules for AWS deployments (e.g., ECS Fargate, EKS, Lambda, EC2).
• Integrating automated security and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines.
• Promoting observability using tools like Open Telemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and Coralogix.
• Collaborating with application teams to create CI/CD flows that balance team needs with platform standards.
• Creating and maintaining documentation, onboarding guides, and best practices to support adoption.
• Providing technical guidance and support for pipeline-related issues.
• Mentoring team members and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
• Have experience in software development using Python, Java, or .NET, with a focus on building reusable tools or APIs.
• Have hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Have a solid understanding of AWS services and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Be familiar with container technologies (Docker, ECR) and deployment strategies (GitOps, blue/green).
• Have knowledge of observability and monitoring tools (Open Telemetry, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Have an understanding of security and compliance tools (CVE scanning, Prisma Cloud, SonarQube).
• Be an effective communication and collaboration skills across diverse, global teams.
