Role description
Join Pepkor NexTech as an Intermediate API Integration Engineer in Cape Town, where you'll be at the heart of our core business capabilities. You'll design, develop, and maintain high-performance APIs and robust integrations, working closely with development, technical support, and business teams. Your role will be crucial in managing our Apigee API Gateway, ensuring platform security, and integrating Google Cloud Platform AI services.
As part of our dynamic IT company, you'll contribute to delivering value-driven solutions to the Pepkor group. You'll be responsible for API development and design, platform management and operations, integration of AI services, and collaboration with various teams.
We're looking for a motivated professional with 5+ years of experience as an Integration Engineer/Developer, strong knowledge of Google Apigee, and experience with GCP ecosystem. You should have a relevant tertiary qualification and Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Developer certification.
