Role description
Join our dynamic team at Capitec Bank as a Penetration Tester and play a crucial role in strengthening our cyber security capabilities. You'll be responsible for assessing and testing our applications and processes, identifying potential security weaknesses, and contributing to the development of world-class cyber security practices through knowledge transfer, education, and research.
As an ideal candidate, you'll bring 5+ years of cyber security testing experience, preferably with 2-3 years in the financial services sector. Your expertise in manual and automated security testing, vulnerability assessments, and proficiency with pen-testing tools will be invaluable. We're looking for someone who can articulate risks to the business and has a strong understanding of system architectures, networking protocols, and industry standards like OWASP Top 10.
