Job Spec 2: Next.js Front-End Developer
Location: Kempton Park (In-office only, no remote work)
Salary: R25,000/month Neg
About Us
Zuse is developing a powerful business management tool (BMT) to simplify business automation and operations. Our alpha version is almost ready for Beta launch, and we’re pushing forward with a modern stack: Next.js 15, MongoDB, React Native, TypeScript, Clerk, and PowerSync.
We are seeking a Next.js Front-End Developer who can craft intuitive and efficient web experiences for our users.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain the front-end application using Next.js 15.
Implement responsive, scalable, and performant UI components.
Work with APIs, authentication (Clerk), and real-time data (PowerSync).
Collaborate with the React Native team for cross-platform consistency.
Assist in React Native development when required.
Contribute to code quality through testing, reviews, and best practices.
Requirements
Strong proficiency in Next.js and TypeScript.
Solid understanding of React ecosystem and front-end best practices.
Experience integrating databases (MongoDB) and authentication flows (Clerk).
Familiarity with mobile app development (React Native) is advantageous.
Strong eye for UI/UX detail and performance optimization.
Ability to assist in both roles when needed.
Assessment
