DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer

Also known as: LegalTech DevOps Lead / Infrastructure Reliability Engineer

🔧 Mission:

Ensure Leximate runs on a secure, scalable, well-documented infrastructure with zero-downtime deployments, full observability, and automated CI/CD flows.

🔁 DevOps & CI/CD Responsibilities

Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions

Automate deploys to Firebase Hosting & Functions

Implement staging → prod workflows with versioning & rollback

Run unit & integration tests in pipeline

Linting, code style enforcement, dependency scanning

🛠 Infrastructure & Google Cloud / Firebase

Configure and manage IAM roles, VPCs, networking

Administer Firestore, Storage, Cloud Functions

Handle environment separation (staging, production)

Setup monitoring (Cloud Logging, Sentry, Crashlytics)

Optimize indexing, queries, and read/write throughput

🧹 Housekeeping, Scaling, and Cleanup Jobs

Old session/doc cleanup scripts (Firestore, Storage)

Cold storage policies, cost-saving configs

GitHub branch/repo pruning

Runbook documentation & admin access reviews

🔐 Security & Compliance

Implement and test Firestore rules

Rotate API keys, service accounts, OAuth credentials

Plan for SOC 2-lite compliance

Security audits, TLS/SSL monitoring, Auth guards

Pen-testing coordination

📦 Source Control & GitHub Management

Manage branching strategies (main, dev, feature)

Setup PR templates, reviewer workflows

Handle repo secrets, API tokens, env variable access
