Role description
Join Penrose Systems as a Technical Lead in our exciting venture into the African mobile gaming sector. You'll be at the forefront of creating localized games and collaborating with mobile operators to produce region-specific experiences. Our mission is to provide gamers with consistent winning experiences while introducing the best products to the market.
As our Technical Lead, you'll be responsible for building and leading a team of developers, developing and maintaining web applications, and implementing new features. You'll work with NodeJS/TypeScript, Kubernetes, SQL, and Azure to build enterprise-grade applications. We're looking for someone who can design secure, scalable architecture and backend systems, while mentoring junior developers and championing technical best practices.
We offer a collaborative environment where your 6+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role, will be highly valued. If you have a passion for clean, scalable code and experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, backend logic, and cloud platforms, we want to hear from you.
Bonus points for knowledge in Redis, EventHubs, SocketIO, or MongoDB/DocumentDB/CosmosDB.
