Role description
We're seeking a talented Full Stack Software Engineer to join our innovative team in Sandton, Gauteng. You'll play a crucial role in developing and maintaining cutting-edge web applications that serve millions of users across South Africa. Our tech stack includes Java 21+, Spring Boot, React, PostgreSQL, and AWS cloud services.
In this role, you'll architect scalable microservices, build resilient distributed systems for financial transactions, and design optimized database schemas. You'll also develop secure RESTful APIs, work with containerized applications in Kubernetes, and champion code quality through comprehensive testing practices. We're looking for someone with 3+ years of experience in production-grade applications, deep expertise in the Spring ecosystem, and a strong understanding of cloud-native technologies.
