Role description
We're seeking a hands-on Tech Lead to spearhead the development of our client's Unified Access Management (UAM) initiative. You'll lead a small, high-impact team building secure, scalable identity-aware services using FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and Google Cloud Platform. Your work will be crucial in driving access governance, intelligent role assignment, and dynamic policy enforcement across global teams and clients.
As our Tech Lead, you'll own and evolve the system architecture for UAM services, guide engineering decisions, and lead technical planning and implementation. You'll collaborate with product and architecture teams to define access patterns and policies, ensuring alignment with our client's long-term UAM strategy. We're looking for someone who can establish best practices in code quality and testing, contribute production-grade code, and mentor developers to foster a culture of ownership and learning.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in backend software engineering, with deep experience in FastAPI or similar async Python frameworks, strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, and experience with Google Cloud Platform. You'll also need a solid understanding of identity & access management, RBAC, or OAuth2 flows.
