Role description
We're seeking a dynamic IT Project Manager to join our Core group on a 12-month contract. You'll work across iStore and Core Group, evaluating and implementing key IT projects that drive our growth and innovation strategy. In this fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, you'll make smart, commercially-minded decisions without rigid structures.
Your responsibilities will include reviewing IT projects, assessing ROI, selecting high-impact initiatives, and driving end-to-end delivery. You'll engage with stakeholders across both companies, manage risks, and provide transparent reporting to leadership. We're looking for someone with 3-5 years of IT project management experience, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced settings.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be comfortable managing competing priorities across multiple business areas, and possess formal project management certification. You'll bring an entrepreneurial, delivery-focused mindset to our team, demonstrating self-motivation, adaptability, and the ability to influence at all levels. Our responsibilities are all encompassing and include supply chain management, marketing management, channel management, enterprise sales and media relations. The territory of operations comprises Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
