Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS) – Hybrid | Cape Town
Shape the future of secure cloud infrastructure.
We're on the hunt for a sharp, hands-on Senior Cloud Engineer who lives and breathes AWS.
If you’re a cloud engineer pro who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves solving
complex problems, and knows how to lead both people and platforms — this role is for you.
What you’ll do:
- lead observability, cost and compliance control in the cloud
- ensure all infrastructure is deployed using infrastructure as code tools
- cloud environment follows best practice
- Assist in the data and AI strategy
- Assist with technical road maps
You’re right for us if you:
- Have 5+ years in AWS experience
- Understand CI/CD, routing, VPNs, and security tooling
- Have solid scripting chops (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Be a proactive leader and team player
- Networks and firewalls experience
Bonus points if you:
- Know Azure/GCP or fintech environments
- Rock Terraform or CloudFormation
- Have AWS certifications
