Role description
We're seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer to join our team at Africa Digital Group. You'll be working on an all-in-one financial services platform for emerging markets, developing robust backend solutions using Java and Spring Boot. Your role will involve designing, developing, and deploying software solutions, with a focus on backend systems and potential frontend work with React.
As a key member of our small, autonomous engineering team, you'll contribute to the full software development lifecycle, optimize solutions on cloud platforms like GCP, and champion best programming practices. You'll work in an agile environment, manage our CI/CD pipeline, and participate in peer code reviews. We're looking for someone with 10+ years of Java development experience, strong proficiency in Spring Boot, and cloud platform expertise.
