Role description
Join our team as a Machine Learning Engineer and help build and productionize our AI capabilities. You'll be at the forefront of crafting agentic legal-AI workflows, defining evaluation frameworks, and mentoring future ML team members. Our ideal candidate has 4-5 years of ML/AI engineering experience, including production LLM work.
In this role, you'll architect and deploy LLM-based pipelines using cutting-edge technologies like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini. You'll develop agentic solutions for document redlining, Q&A, and drafting, while collaborating with legal SMEs to refine prompt strategies and evaluation metrics. We're looking for someone with hands-on expertise in prompt engineering and strong software engineering skills in Python and cloud deployments.
We offer an exciting opportunity to build from the ground floor, working in a dynamic environment where you'll optimize inference performance on GCP and establish data annotation and model monitoring processes. If you have an ownership mentality and experience with advanced multi-agent systems and tool-enabled agents, we want to hear from you. Prior legal-tech experience and familiarity with LLM evaluation platforms are a plus.

About Greyball
What we do
Greyball is a platform that allows GCs to spin-up ‘custom’ agents to interact with the rest of the business and automate tasks like drafting, document review, and Q&A. It allows a legal team to manage work and automate tasks beyond just contracts — with the ability to go back/forth with a business stakeholder in Slack/Email, while allowing lawyers to jump-in and manage from a single hub.
