Role description
Zestlife is a dynamic and innovative company seeking an experienced IT Developer to join our team. As an IT Developer, you will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day operations of our OWLS system, delivering top-notch systems and services, and solving complex business and system problems.
We're looking for a highly skilled IT Developer with a strong financial services background, exceptional SQL skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities. As part of our IT team, you will be responsible for writing complex SQL reports, setting up and maintaining correspondence templates, developing a deep understanding of the OWLS system, and testing system changes.
The ideal candidate will have a 3/4 year IT qualification, advanced SQL programming skills, and 5-7 years of IT experience and must reside in Cape Town. We value extensive exposure to SQL programming, database systems, and general IT skills. Knowledge of the Financial and Insurance Business is a plus.

Our Hiring Process:

- Online Wamly interview – You will be presented with a set of pre-selected questions, and your answers will be recorded using your own device’s camera and microphone. Your recorded interview will then be available for review by the interview panel.
- The 2nd interview will be held online via MS Teams with the interview panel.
- You will be requested to complete an assessment should you be successful in the 2nd interview.
- Background checks and references will be conducted at this stage, and a final decision will be made.
