Role description
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 27001, POPIA) and internal governance frameworks.
• Support Development Team: Collaborate with developers to facilitate the delivery of new features and effective platform management.
• Requirement Gathering: Drive workshops with stakeholders to gather and clarify business requirements.
• Documentation: Create and maintain critical documents, including:
-Business Requirements Documents (BRD)
-Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS)
• Data Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of business processes, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• eCommerce Understanding: Utilize your knowledge of eCommerce platforms and processes to provide insights that enhance functionality and user experience.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate clear communication among stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Process Mapping: Develop process maps and workflows to visualize current and future state processes.
• Testing and Validation: Collaborate with QA teams to develop test cases and validate that solutions meet business requirements.
• Change Management: Assist in managing changes by communicating updates and training users on new processes or systems.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the eCommerce sector.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.
Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and documentation standards.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
