We're building the solution – an AI relationship coach.

Our stealth-mode startup is creating technology that makes authentic human connection effortless again. Our founder brought Wall Street execution and Silicon Valley learnings back to the Cape—leveraging us world-class South Africans to target the massive US and global market.

This isn't a 9-to-5 gig. We're looking for someone who gets energized by startup intensity, wants to work directly with the founding team, and believes the best products are built by small teams moving fast. You'll have real ownership, real impact, and real equity in something that could define how humans connect for the next decade.

The Role

You'll architect the mobile experience that brings people back together—from the ground up, with complete technical ownership.

Direct founder collaboration. Zero bureaucracy. Work shoulder-to-shoulder with the founding team, making decisions that matter daily. No layers of management, no endless meetings—just building something extraordinary.

Technical challenges that push you. AI-powered relationship insights, privacy-first architecture for sensitive personal data, seamless integrations, real-time sync across platforms. Complex, meaningful work that makes you a better engineer.

Your code touches real lives. Every feature helps someone land their dream job, get that crucial business deal, or strengthen relationships that matter. This isn't optimizing ad clicks—it's building technology that genuinely improves lives.

What You'll Build

iOS Frontend Excellence

• Architect the mobile app from scratch using Swift, SwiftUI, and scalable iOS patterns

• Build lightning-fast, intuitive interfaces for complex relationship insights

• Optimize for performance, memory usage, and battery life across all devices

AI-Powered Experience

• Integrate cutting-edge LLM services into beautiful, user-friendly interfaces

• Create context-aware features that adapt to user behavior and relationship patterns

• Transform AI outputs into clear, actionable mobile experiences

Platform Connectivity

• Build secure connections to communication and social platforms

• Handle OAuth and authentication flows for multiple third-party services

• Design offline-first functionality for seamless user experience

Ownership & Growth

• Lead App Store strategy and TestFlight distributions

• Drive product decisions with direct input on iOS roadmap alongside founding team

• Support university partners and institutional users

What You Bring

Technical Foundation

• 2-4 years iOS development with Swift and shipped App Store apps

• Solid architecture understanding (MVVM, clean code principles)

• API integration and authentication flow experience

• Performance optimization and debugging skills

Compensation

• R50,000 - R80,000/month based on experience
