Role description
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project/Product Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for leading technical projects from conception to completion, managing cross-functional teams, and serving as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage technical projects through the entire development lifecycle
- Create, prioritize, and manage technical tickets and task backlogs
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies
- Review and understand pull requests to effectively communicate technical changes and updates
- Manage CI/CD processes and ensure smooth deployment workflows
- Develop and maintain project timelines, resource allocation, and budgets
- Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders at all levels
- Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and provide regular updates
- Translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and vice versa
- Document project progress, decisions, and technical specifications
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in technical project or product management
- Strong understanding of software development processes and SDLC
- Proficiency in various project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall)
- Experience with technical ticketing systems and version control platforms
- Ability to understand pull requests and code changes at a high level
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong stakeholder management and client interaction experience
- Problem-solving skills and ability to remove blockers for technical teams
- Experience creating technical documentation and specifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Nice to Have
- ClickUp proficiency (will be required to learn as it's our PM software of choice)
- Technical background or hands-on development experience
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies
- Certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master)
- Experience in our industry vertical
- Understanding of UX/UI design principles
