Role description
Intermediate Application Developer
We ’re looking for a highly skilled and intelligent Intermediate Application Developer to join our team and contribute to meaningful, high-impact projects in a dynamic, rewarding environment. This role is ideal for someone who is curious, proactive, and takes ownership of their work — someone who thrives on solving complex problems and is passionate about writing clean, reliable code.
🔧 This is a back-end role only — no front-end work is required.
About the Role
As a intermediate developer, you’ll be working across a range of new and existing projects primarily within the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors. You’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions, often working independently, while collaborating with other developers and testers to ensure performance and reliability.
This is a hybrid position, which means you’ll have the flexibility to work remotely but will be expected to come into the office once a week.
What You’ll Do
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, closely following project plans and timelines.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively while delivering consistent results with minimal supervision.
- Develop scalable, efficient, and maintainable code according to internal standards and best practices.
- Support and enhance existing applications, including legacy systems, and assist in the transition to modern architectures.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and stakeholders, providing accurate updates and insights.
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure robust testing and high code quality.
- Ensure version control, backups, and documentation are in place for all work.
What We’re Looking For
- A self-motivated developer who is both a thinker and a doer — someone who seeks to fully understand the "why" behind their work.
- Strong attention to detail and a track record of delivering high-accuracy work, especially when working with large datasets.
- Demonstrable reliability and accountability in professional environments.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in IT or Computer Science (preferred).
- Minimum 6 years of development experience (commercial or private).
- Must have held a previous role for at least 2 consecutive years.
Technical Skills
- **C# ** with strong object-oriented design principles (inheritance, abstraction, shared libraries).
- ASP.NET MVC framework.
- Experience with multi-threaded applications.
- Strong skills in LINQ and LINQ-to-SQL.
- Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience with WPF.
- Familiarity with WCF and other Windows/Web services.
