We are now looking for a Product Designer to join the team. This role calls for a versatile individual proficient in both UX and UI, dedicated to delivering value for businesses and their customers. The position requires foresight to create sustainable solutions that can be tested, validated, and integrated into the daily lives of millions across Africa. Throughout your work, you’ll consistently evaluate the designed experience and ensure a high level of craftmanship. You will have the chance to work across a broad range of projects that enable the business to scale, bring new products to market, and captivate customers through impactful digital experiences.

Develop

· Annotated design specifications

· Visual asset preparation

· Development implementation review

· Product experience testing

· Content quality assurance checks

Job Qualifications

Skills & experience are we looking for includes:

Relevant tertiary qualification

Strong portfolio showcasing product and platform design work

Proficient in utilising prototyping software, including Figma and the Adobe Suite

Good understanding of branding, marketing, data, media, social UI, UX, business analysis, and technology trends

Able to create scalable component libraries

Good understanding of development processes and agile methodologies

Keen eye for design with meticulous attention to detail

Able to articulate and rally support for design decisions

Skilled in working collaboratively with both internal and external client teams.

Initiative-driven with a self-leadership approach

Positive attitude with a strong sense of empathy

Deadline-oriented with exceptional organizational skills

Strong team player fostering positive and respectful collaboration

Willingness to embrace challenges while excelling within high-pressure scenarios
