What we do
Established in South Africa in 1996, we are a leading supplier of mobile network-based solutions for the South African - and international - IoT and telemetry markets. We manage over half a million connected devices out in the wild and we provide our clients with a mature set of web-based tools and services to stay in control of their deployments. Our customers love us because Trinity's products allow them to rapidly grow and expand their IoT estate while we simplify their maintenance and operations.
Why Work For Us?
Because we are mature and established, but with a start-up's enthusiasm and energy. We have fantastic clients whom we love, and who loves us, and we are single-mindedly focused on giving them the best of ourselves. The things we do matter - to them and to us.
We may be small, but we do big company work. Our clients rely on us for their own business success, and we take that responsibility pretty seriously. We try to do the right thing, in the right way. We love a challenge and we love to explore alternatives. We are willing to fail, as long as it is in a new way.
Our Engineering Processes
You will work with experienced career engineers - professionals to the core. We don't "ship" code; we don't take our client's money and run. We own code. The stuff we write, we write first and foremost for the long run. Our clients rely on us, we rely on our engineers, and they rely on their code. Our system spans multiple datacenters and is expected to be available 24-7. It processes many millions of messages a day. It's supposed to be reliable, and that's the way we build it.
Our Hiring Process
We hire for fit first. To us, grit, determination, curiosity and teachability - in short: character - is what we are after. Can you "stick it out", can you "work through the problem", can you get up from failure? We don't think we will put you through a live coding session while the rest of the company looks over your shoulder trying not to giggle. We don't think so - but maybe... we don't know yet. Or maybe a whiteboard session: where we put you on the spot and see how well you cope with unprepared public speaking. Ooh, maybe something like that. We're toying with the idea... Are you interested?
